Multi-Store & Multi-Region
Multi-region support is available as part of Marqo Enterprise. Contact your Marqo account manager to enable this feature.
Multi-store and multi-region management allows you to maintain global consistency while enabling local customization for different markets.
Multi-Store
Marqo supports managing multiple stores from a single account. Each store can have its own index, merchandising rules, and search configuration while sharing a common catalog and global rules.
Multi-Region
Region-based deployment allows you to serve search results from infrastructure closest to your customers, reducing latency and ensuring compliance with regional data requirements.
Enabling Multi-Region
To enable multi-region for your account:
- Navigate to Settings → Deployment in the Marqo dashboard
- Under Region Configuration, check the Enable multi-region checkbox
- Select the regions you want to activate from the available list
- Click Save to apply the configuration
Once enabled, Marqo will automatically route queries to the nearest regional deployment.
Global Rules with Local Overrides
You can define global merchandising rules that apply across all stores and regions, then override specific rules at the store or region level when needed. This allows you to maintain brand consistency while adapting to local market requirements.
