Rule Trace

Rule trace is an enterprise feature available as part of Marqo Enterprise. Contact your Marqo account manager to enable this feature.

A rule trace shows which merchandising rules applied to a request, in what order, and how they affected the final results.

Marqo does not currently return a rule trace in any API response. To see which rules are configured for a query, collection page, or recommendation shelf, open that trigger in the merchandising console; see the Explainability & Auditing Overview for what the console shows for each result.
