Merchandising Controls Overview

Merchandising controls give you direct, hands-on control over search rankings—the "hands on the rankings" layer that lets you influence product visibility based on business priorities.

Key Capabilities

Merchandising controls allow you to:

  • Boost/Bury: Increase or decrease visibility by product, brand, category, attribute, margin, inventory level, and more using a slider-based interface
  • Pinning: Force specific items into exact positions by dragging and dropping or using the pin button
  • Exclusions: Remove products from results for policy, compliance, out-of-stock, or quality reasons
  • Campaign Rules: Create time-bound promotions, seasonal pushes, vendor-funded placements, and launch collections (Enterprise feature)
